Only with one hand to push the side push the bottons one after another when the seat is at its open position, then lift the seat and clean it. After cleaning, just re-attach the seat back onto the pin. All work can be done just with one hand.

Maintain: Release the seat&cover, clean the hinges and pin with warm water and a mild detergent. Afterwards rub dry. Don't use any caustic or scouring agents.
